Living is Resistance.
Living is Resistance.
Drowning Reverie is a trio centered around the narrator's experience drowning within the crashing shores of white water rapids. As they realize where they are, they take a moment while gazing at the sun shining through the foaming river and reflect.
The piece in itself serves as a metaphor for struggling with mental health issues. The sense of losing control, of being overtaken by it, of crashing into the depths of those waves. The piece gently moves through the narrator's reflections, growing into the ending before pulling back to quietness- leaving the narrator's fate for the listener to decide.
