"You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you." Ezekiel 28:15-18
The Fall of the Morning Star is an orchestral piece written about the story of Lucifer being cast out from Heaven. I found the story to be rather sad: a son cast out from his home by his father. A youth rejected by their family. In this piece, originally written for a solo Celtic harp, I wanted to explore the idea of the hurt, heartbeat, and betrayal the Morning Star felt as he fell down to Earth. The piece is built on tri-tones, which has a history of being considered the 'devils chord' in old music theory.
The piece has two versions. One for an orchestral ensemble, and one for Celtic Harp
